Here’s what you need to know about securing a stay at da Lake House
Da Lake House accommodates 6 comfortably:
- Master bedroom has a queen-size bed
- 2nd bedroom has a full-size bed
- 3rd bedroom has a set of twin beds
- The large couch in the living room is also a pull-out bed.
Summer months of June through August are weekly rentals that run Sunday to Sunday for up to 6 guests. The weekly rate is $920. Additional guests will be charged $80/person for the week.
If interested in shorter stays during these months, please call or inquire here to find out if rental bookings are slow and your request can be accommodated. It never hurts to ask.
Other times of the year require a minimum 3-night stay at $215/night with additional guests over 6 charged $50/person. Stays longer than 3 nights are prorated — call for details.
Da Lake House remains a pet-friendly stay as long as owners keep pets off the furniture and pick up outside droppings. The pet fee is $40/pet/stay.
All rentals require a $200 Security Deposit.
There are no reduced rates during off months as there are actually increased operating costs, including propane for heating and snow plowing in the winter.
All bedding and towels are provided — to be washed and folded (washer and dryer are onsite) at the end the stay– or opt to pay a $40 maid service to handle this chore.
Call to verify available dates/weeks. I’d like to know about your vacation plans and intended visitors before a rental is granted and a Rental Agreement provided. Once an approved Rental Agreement is sent, it needs to be signed and returned with 50% of the rental cost within 10 days to reserve your dates. The remaining rental amount, along with the Security Deposit, is due at least 2 weeks prior to your approved arrival date. Directions and access will be shared at that time.
All interested renters are warned in advance that falsifying any details of the Rental Agreement, such as number of guests, will automatically result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.
Da Lake House is one of the best properties on Iron Lake with large shading cedars, good privacy, and beautiful sunsets directly across the lake. Plus, you can still enjoy the lake when it rains or the mosquitoes are active by relaxing in da Screen House located right on the edge of the lake.
